Leila lost her grandmother and cousin the Haiti earthquake. She barely escaped as her house collapsed. She and her mom arrived in Brooklyn without a home, food or clothes. They were warmly welcomed to the Seeds in the Middle and PS 91 community. Now Leila will bike for the first time on May 2nd in the Bike New York TD 5-Boro Bike Tour.

Jordan is a fourth grader who needs to fix his bike so he can ride free, thanks to the generosity of Ken Podziga, president of Bike New York. Jordan is trying to lose weight. His mother worries about his health. For the first time, Jordan is also playing soccer this spring. He joined our brand-new youth soccer league.
Briana is playing soccer for the first time with Seeds in the Middle and she is going on the Bike New York 5-Boro Bike Tour. "I love to do soccer because it helps me lose weight. You get muscles, it gets you to exercise and it makes you strong. and it helps me watch my health. I love to bicycle because it's fun and helps other people communicate and it helps you exercise and get healthy."
